The short version
What TinyBright will never do
No ads
There are no advertisements anywhere in the game — not between activities, not on the home screen, not ever.
No purchases
Nothing inside the play experience costs money. There are no “tap to buy” traps aimed at little fingers.
No tracking
No third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking cookies. No profiles are built about your child.
No account
No sign-up, no email, no password. Just open it and play.
No uploads
Progress and prizes are saved on your own device and stay there. Nothing is sent to a server.
No camera or mic
The voices you hear are pre-recorded and bundled in. The game never listens or watches.
In your hands
Controls built for you
A tucked-away Parent area — reached the way these things should be, past a spot toddlers won’t stumble into — lets you shape the experience:
- Daily play-time limit. Set how long a session lasts; when the time is up, TinyBright eases into a friendly “see you next time” break screen rather than an abrupt stop.
- Choose the worlds. Show only Colors and Shapes today if that’s where your child is, and add Numbers and Letters when they’re ready.
- Separate profiles. Give each child their own progress, prizes and avatar color — up to five in all.
Our approach
Gentle by design
Very young children learn through repetition, encouragement, and the freedom to make mistakes without consequence. TinyBright is shaped around that:
- Everything is spoken. A warm voice reads every instruction and celebrates every success, so a child who can’t read yet is never stuck.
- There’s no way to lose. No timers on the activities themselves, no scores counting down, no “game over.” A wrong tap simply invites another try.
- Difficulty follows the child. Games unlock and level up as skills grow, and a round that proves tricky quietly makes the next one easier.
- Rewards are wholesome. Stars and collectible pets and hats — earned only by playing, never bought.
TinyBright is a supplement to play, not a substitute for it. We think screens are best in small, shared doses — which is exactly why the play-time limit is one tap away.
Good to know
A few practical notes
- Ages. Designed for roughly 2 to 5. Younger toddlers enjoy the tapping and the characters; older ones grow into tracing, counting and the alphabet.
- Devices. Works in any modern browser on a tablet, phone or computer, with large touch targets sized for small hands. A desktop app that runs fully offline is on the way.
- Cost. The web version is free, with no ads and nothing to buy.
- Data. Because everything stays on the device, clearing your browser’s data or switching devices will reset progress. That’s the trade-off for collecting nothing.
